There are days where my heart feels drained out. where the ink of my letters bleed from the paper. I can feel voiceless, numb and drawn away from where I stand. It's the feeling of a broken heart. Of being a ghost. Maybe you feel that way. I pray you're not feeling that way today. Just...not today.
Now and again we need reminders. Things to reason with. We do that a lot actually. We usually reason in ways against ourselves..please not today. If you can hear what I'm saying, if you're sure I'm talking to you right now...hey..you work hard, you know. Most people wouldn't say this but you have a whole lifetime beforehand and ahead of you now. You've made it far and I'm proud of you. I think you're someone who has maybe been a bit hard on themselves. You've struggled along the way, and that's okay, that's just fine. We all need to gain a little balance, a little perspective.
Maybe you've made some mistakes. That's..fine. I hope whatever problems you've faced, they only remind you, not bind you. I want you to know something. You are deserving of a lot of love. Nothing...absolutely nothing in this life will ever change that. If you don't believe me..well..then come and sit with me sometime.
Take it from me if you can. No matter what you may be feeling right now, good or bad, happy or sad..you are never powerless. You will define each and every moment ahead of yourself. All it takes is a little bit of heart. Broken or not. alright hun..?
